Tour 2 : Gigondas - Vacqueras
These Laces form a true wall which separates the long stony valley formed by the Rhone river from the alpine buttresses. In the North is the bar of hills who carries Cairanne and Rasteau and to the south the mounts of Vaucluse, further Luberon: a drive North to South of this mountain, visit of the fortified village of Séguret.
Before going to visit a vinemaker of Gigondas wines, we stop in the vineyards, lost in the folds of calcareous hills. The afternoon will be devoted to a less high zone: Piedmont of « les Dentelles » in the Vacqueyras appellation. After the discovery of a winery in Vacqueyras, the tour will continue in the mountain to appreciate the « terroir » of the Muscatel of Beaumes de Venise.
